Drop Off Unwanted Medications on April 24

Fauquier Health will offer the community an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted medication and sharps (needles) on Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to noon. The collection will be held in the Medical Office Building at 253 Veterans Drive, on Hospital Hill, and is intended to keep medications out of the landfill and out of public drinking water.

Residents may bring prescription medications, vitamins, over-the-counter medicine and sharps. Please bring medications in original containers with the name of the medicine visible and personal information crossed out. Medications will be accepted only from the public. This collection is not intended to serve businesses or doctors’ offices.
