N. L. Mauroner, Jr., MD
Internal Medicine
As a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Mauroner specializes in all areas of primary care for adults and adolescents, including wellness, prevention and disease management. And with nearly three decades of experience treating patients in our local area, he understands the health issues facing our community. Through his extensive knowledge base, soundness of judgement and practical wisdom, he has developed an intuitive feel for a wide variety of medical conditions. And that—along with his compassionate approach to medicine—has a way of putting our patients at ease.
Education and Training
After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1978, Dr. Mauroner completed the University of California Irvine School of Medicine/Long Beach Veteran’s Administration Hospital Internal Medicine Internship and Residency Program.
Honors and Awards
Among his many honors, Dr. Mauroner is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians and the Southern Medical Association.
Employment
Dr. Mauroner joined Fauquier Health as a private practice physician with Warrenton Medical Associates in 1981, right after he completed his residency program.
Personal Interests
Dr. Mauroner is married and has one child.
